COMING TO THE MOVIES!!!

Before Crown, a division of Random House, pre-empted The Secret Magdalene, it was published by Eio Books of Vermont.  Based on this edition of the book, the film-maker Nancy Savoca has completed a script of Ki Longfellow’s original vision of her work.

Nancy Savoca’s first film, True Love, won the Grand Jury Prize at the 1989 Sundance Film Festival…and each of her following films, both for the Big Screen and for TV, have been nominated for, or awarded, prizes and accolades all over the world.  She is considered one of the ten best independent film-makers ever by twenty of America’s top movie critics.  True Love is listed in the top fifty of the best independent movies of all time.
